Welcome to my blog, where I share original sentiments for use in your handmade cards!
Today is Grandparent’s Day. I know it’s too late for Grandparent’s Day this year, but it could be used for a birthday… in fact, I wrote this probably 40 years ago, as a young person, for my Grandma’s birthday. The image is a photo of that very card! (She saved it all those years) Of course, I’m biased toward her, but I’m sure you love your Grandma just as much. If this sentiment resonates with you, I’d be honored for you to share it with your loved one!
I have included the original poem here, and an updated one with an ending that I think sounds a little better. I will post both versions below. Then, as always, you will find a button where you can download a pdf of them for your non-commercial use. Today’s download is a poem referencing Grandma. If you’d like a downloadable pdf of the same poem referencing Grandpa, just reach out to me and I will create another file for you. Enjoy!
Clicking the button below will allow you to download a two page pdf. Each page contains four copies of one version, for your card making convenience.
If you enjoy the poetry I’m posting here, please share my blog and the Sharing Sentiments Facebook page with your card making friends and encouragers you know. And come back! I plan to post new poems weekly. Thank you, and blessings! I appreciate you!
