Happy day, fellow creatives! It’s time to share another sentiment for your handmade cards!
Today’s poem of choice was written in 2021 when a friend requested an original card for a family wedding. She specifically requested that it have a beach theme and be based on 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, the Bible’s “Love” chapter, Which reads as follows: Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. And the next verse begins with the statement that Love never ends.
This is what I came up with:
If you are a maker of handmade cards, or just want to encourage some newlyweds you know, this poem is available for you to download below. By clicking on the button, you will receive a two page pdf. The first page includes the poem above, two times. The second page is the same sentiment; it just says “we,” instead of “I.” Being a longer one, this printout won’t fit in an A2 size card. It would require closer to an A9 (basically an 8 1/2×11 paper folded in half).
Thank you for visiting my site! Please click around… and come back! As regularly as I am able, I post a new sentiment every week for use in your handmade greeting cards. I’d love to hear if you were blessed to use them! And if you are, please share this blog with other encouragers, in order to maximize their reach and bless more souls! Thank you so much! I appreciate you. Love and blessings, Cathy
